i still cant bring myself to stick my dreads in near boiling water. i spent 6 years ironing out my hair on a near-daily basis and dying/bleaching countless times. im sort of afraid that amount of heat is going to destroy some of the hairs lol. Its probably an unrational fear but nonetheless its a fear :P

Yes I've never had any wax in my dreads ever. I've got a tub of that knotty boy crap someone gave me but that shit is never making it onto my locs. Yuck.

People are always like, asking me, oh, so what wax / how much wax / when do you wax type questions. Im like NONE NEVER NEVER EVER. Haha. Even a guy I know whos had dreads a couple of years asked me about wax. Im like, I don't use it, and he was like, what?

Needless to say, his dreads stink like shit. Mine dont. Hah.

Wax is bad yo. Lol. I wish more people knew that.

more ppl are le4arning all the time since this sites existed only 2 years theres been a huge reduction in waxy disasters and both knottyboy and dreadheadhq are now well known scams they are fading away quickly
